Sometimes the frame is just too tight

The shot is cropped too close, the aspect ratio is wrong for the platform, or you need room for captions and UI. Cropping loses content; padding with black or blur looks unfinished.

Generate the surroundings instead

Outpainting fills the added area with coherent picture that continues the scene, using LTX-2.3. The original footage stays untouched in the middle; only the new space is generated.

How is this different from cropping?

Cropping removes picture. Outpainting adds picture - it generates new, scene-consistent surroundings around your original footage.

What canvas sizes are supported?

Arbitrary target canvases up to about 1080p, in multiples of 32. Common uses are widening a shot or changing aspect ratio.

Is there a quality option?

Yes - a default and a higher-quality mode. High quality costs 3x the default price.

What does it cost?

Can I extend the video on one side only?

Yes. You control where the new canvas goes - top, bottom, left, right, or any combination - so you can widen a single edge, add headroom, or grow the frame evenly.
