FAQ
How is this different from cropping?
Cropping removes picture. Outpainting adds picture - it generates new, scene-consistent surroundings around your original footage.
What canvas sizes are supported?
Arbitrary target canvases up to about 1080p, in multiples of 32. Common uses are widening a shot or changing aspect ratio.
Is there a quality option?
Yes - a default and a higher-quality mode. High quality costs 3x the default price.
What does it cost?
Prices follow canvas size and clip length - larger canvases and longer clips cost more, and the exact price is shown before you generate. See the pricing page.
Can I extend the video on one side only?
Yes. You control where the new canvas goes - top, bottom, left, right, or any combination - so you can widen a single edge, add headroom, or grow the frame evenly.
How do I extend the canvas of a video?
Set the target canvas size and where the padding should go, then generate. The model paints the added area to match the scene while the original pixels stay untouched in place.
